The automated behaviour is getting tiresome, YES I understand that you have been there before but be honest, you may be "THE ONE" but I won't call because I am not getting the right signals. (Because of your previous experience, you are scared to even reach out, make an effort and try). You have been through a thousand bad dates therefore, you are not going to let your hair down, not even giving this a chance to breathe or grow.
If every guy you are going to date is going to be measured against the last JERK you went out with, how do you every expect to get past the starting blocks IF the line is drawn way behind them.
and NO, I am NOT looking for a pen-pal either, these long drawn out keyboard romances are tiresome and really don't do much to enable us to get to know each other, our personalities can't shine through, I can't get to experience your laughter and your smile is just an emoticon on a screen. I may sound like a moron face to face and a professor when the computers involved in correcting everything, this does not do it for me besides what is the worst situation you can find yourself in???
A 10 minute coffee date, drinking the best possible coffee available (I hate bad coffee) at the very least. The other side of the coin could be that we get to meet our other halves so much sooner and we are able to start building from there (BTW - I don't expect you to pay for the coffee)
